Electric Motor / Energy Storage Specialists
We are looking for Senior or Principal Engineers to take leading specialist roles in the development of IP’s new Supergen / i-Hybrid technology. As important as outright experience is the ability to extend your existing knowledge and continually adapt to new technical and professional challenges. In return you will develop quickly, and we will reward you based on your performance and development.
You should have capability in two or more of the following:
- Architecture of electric motor systems
- PM / SR / Induction motors, particularly for vehicle applications
- Motor drives and control systems
- DC Voltage control systems
- Vehicle based electrical energy storage and transfer systems
- Matlab / Simulink modelling of electric motors, controls and energy storage systems
- Hybrid vehicle integration, development and interfacing with other powertrain systems
- Development of hybrid control strategies
