Powertrain Concepts, Mechanical Systems and Analysis
We are looking for engineers up to Principal Engineer, at which level you will generally have full project responsibility. You should be well qualified and have suitable experience in the areas outlined below. As important as outright experience is the ability to extend your existing knowledge and continually adapt to new technical and professional challenges. In return you will develop quickly, and we will reward you based on your performance and development.
You should have capability in two or more of the following:
- Concept design and engine architecture from clean sheet
- Major system design for base engine, ancillary systems and powertrain installation systems
- Design of complex components
- Development of knowledge based design tools
- Advanced calculations for engine design and mechanical analysis
- 1D simulation and performance prediction
- Powertrain dynamic modelling using Matlab / Simulink
