Comprehensive in-house control software development

Our unique modular s/w platform enables precise control of motors with vehicle compliant communications and local intelligence as required. We have motors operating successfully at over 4kHz and are able to precisely change from maximum motoring to maximum generation in less than one hundredth of a second. 

Software structure (diagram)

  • Level 0: Communications, sensor and actuator I/O
  • Level 1: d,q motor control
  • Level 2: Model based high level control and diagnostics (common for all motors)
  • Level 3: Specific device related control

Whilst we can configure for conventional closed-loop current control we can also use our in-house developed Model Based Open Loop controller in many applications removing the need for expensive current sensing and extending useable voltage range for improved performance and efficiency.
