Experience gained during this testing has been used to develop the new "Phase 2" design featuring integrated compact power electronics and a significantly smaller overall package. IPs Simulink based models have been updated to reflect test data and to reflect the Phase 2 designs for hardware, motors and power electronics. IP has sucessfully linked these models to customers own 1D engine simulation models to confirm full in vehicle performence and transient response. Intellectual Property RightsIPR is owned equally by Integral Powertrain Ltd and NexxtDrive Ltd who are co-operating to license the product for automotive use. Engineering application and prototypesIntegral Powertrain has developed designs for gasoline and diesel application both as the prime boosting solution and as an auxilliary boosting system to replace the high pressure turbo in sequential systems.
