Production Operative / Handy person

We are experiencing significant growth through a number of successful programmes and as a result, we are seeking a Production Operative to support our engineering teams.

Key responsibilities:

  • Carry out daily company vehicle checks such as engine oil, water levels and tyre inspection pressure checks
  • Transport material between company sites and to customer sites using company vehicles
  • Maintain a high standard of housekeeping on the shop floor and throughout the company premises, undertake cleaning duties as required including using floor scrubbing machinery
  • Carry out basic maintenance tasks as and when required
  • Support other areas of the business as required

Required skills/experience:

The production operative will be pivotal in the upkeep of our facilities, you will need strong attention to detail, take pride in maintaining high standards of housekeeping, be trustworthy, reliable and be able to carry out physical tasks including some heavy lifting.

You will ideally have some previous experience in a production or factory based environment. This role will initially begin on a temporary basis with a view to it being made permanent for the right person.

You will require a full, clean UK Driving License.

Our working hours are 8am – 5pm Monday to Thursday and 8am - 4pm on Friday with occasional hours required in addition to these times.
