Working with prestigious manufacturers and Tier 1 suppliers, our engineers create innovative, complex powertrain engineering solutions used for a wide range of applications.

We are experiencing significant growth through a number of successful programmes and as a result, we are seeking an additional Stores person to support our Stores and Goods Inward departments.

Key responsibilities:

  • Carry out physical tasks in Goods Inwards – receiving goods, visually inspecting them, unpacking and checking serial numbers, transferring them to stores.
  • Preparing items to be dispatched – Finished Goods, Sub-Contract items, Non-conforming materials.
  • Provide support to the parts picking process, the set-up of line-side stocks and accurate kitting
  • Support the Purchasing Administrator in recording supplier quality data
  • Carry out Sage operations in conjunction with Material Handlers and Goods Inwards Personnel
  • Using company vehicles for local or inter-site material movements as required.
  • General housekeeping

Required skills/Competencies:

  • Strong attention to detail, high standards of housekeeping
  • Trustworthy & reliable
  • Able to carry out physical tasks including some heavy lifting
  • Full, Clean UK Driving License
  • Numerate and accurate
  • MS Office (Excel & Word) to intermediate level
  • Experienced in carrying out Storekeeping transactions
  • Able to work alone and as part of a team
