These are middle to high experience positions working at Milton Keynes or on our clients' sites, on mainly passenger car GDI EMS applications.  There are a mix of roles, with an initial emphasis on core engine mapping and calibration, follwed by more vehicle based content.

Roles are analytical in nature and responsibilities include core engine calibration on state of the art torque based engine management systems.  Good experience in Bosch MED systems would be an advantage, as would experience of advanced model based calibration software (eg MBC toolbox).

You should have capability in two or more of the following:

• Base engine calibration for performance, economy and emissions on torque based GDI EMS systems
• Experience with downsized, pressure charged engines
• Use of model based calibration systems (eg MBC toolbox)
• Knowledge of Bosch MED torque based systems
• Vehicle benchmarking and C02 testing
• Emission development, including light off optimisation and cycle development for compliance with worldwide standards
• Control Strategy Development
• Driveability development and interface with transmission and other vehicle systems
• Hot / cold / altitude development
