EMS Calibration Leader/Project Manager

These are experienced positions working on our client’s site on passenger car CR diesel EMS calibration programs. The roles require a strategic thinker able to plan and lead core engine calibration on state of the art torque based engine management systems.

Significant experience with OEM production planning and reporting systems would be advantageous.

You should have capability in the following:

  • EMS Project management and team leadership experience
  • Leading Dynamometer based calibration programmes
  • Control Strategy Development
  • Emission development and drivability
  • Customer lead

It is expected that you will have the technical experience to manage a highly skilled team of engineers carrying out the following:

  • Base engine calibration for performance, economy and emissions on fully torque based EMS
  • Trade off engine calibration using advanced calibration methods (e.g. emissions vs. fuel economy)
  • Driveability development and interface with transmission and other vehicle systems
  • DPF system development and regeneration strategies
  • SCR system development and control   
  • Hot / cold / altitude development
